Woodard Wins CEC 2008!!
'Mario Andretti' helped them race to the finish in style.
Woodard Junior High is the winner of the 2008 Current Events Challenge held at M.E. Post Auditorium on May 7th. Team members include: Rachael Nickle - Coach, Arturo Vargas, Anthony Gaither, Niles Getz, Yaide Mercado, Nikki Lamb, and Jazmine Ramirez.

That word won Robert A. Steen, a seventh-grader from Centennial Middle School, the applause of the audience and the championship title of the 62nd annual Yuma County Spelling Bee.
